Termination of a work permit

A work permit shall terminate with

• the expiration of the time-period for which it was issued
• the termination of the employment prior to the time period for which its was issued,
• the expiration of the permission to stay, or
• the ceasing to exist of the right to stay for other reasons.

Withdrawal of a work permit

A LO may withdraw a foreigner's work permit if employment is being carried out in contravention of the work permit or if the work permit was issued on the basis of untrue information. An appeal against the decision to withdraw a work permit does not have dilatory effects.
