COMPANY HISTORY

TMC Tourist Services is a Registered Danish Consultancy company that has catered for the Hotel and Leisure Industry for more than 15 Years. Through our Fun and Active Programme of Entertainment we strive to give Holidaymakers an unforgettable holiday experience. Following our successful co-operation in 2011, for 2012, TMC will be working in conjunction with Jet Air, Belgium’s leading Tour Operator and TUI, to bring Entertainment to a range of Jet Air Club Hotels.

TMC is looking to recruit over 140 Entertainers who are enthusiastic, bubbly and with an outgoing personality. ENGLISH language skills are a must and any other languages will be an advantage, e.g German, Italian, French or Russian. IMPORTANT INFO

If you’re successful then you’ll be invited to our exclusive two day training course in Stockholm, Sweden. (Accommodation provided). If you successfully complete this course you’ll sign a contract with us and will fly out to Cyprus or Greece in April where TMC will be holding in-house training for inexperienced Entertainers. Here you will have the chance to learn alongside experienced Entertainers and be guided by our supervisors. This includes food and accommodation. TMC will assist in constant supervision throughout the season from April 1st until November 1st 2012.

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT:
1st April until 1st November 2012 or 1st May until 1st November 2012.

ENTERTAINMENT MANAGER’S JOB DESCRIPTION

TMC is looking to recruit more than 20 people with the strength and personality to lead a Team of young people in a lively Holiday atmosphere. Can you make on the spot decisions to ensure your guests remain happy and satisfied at all times? If you feel that you have what it takes to bring together a team of individuals and help make them into a TMC Entertainment Team then we want to hear from you! Your job will partly be to supervise the Entertainments’ Programme and the standard of your Team’s Performance. However we at TMC believe that the best leaders lead by example so you’ll be joining in with all the activities as well. Therefore previous experience as an Entertainment Manager and Entertainer is essential.
As a Team Leader you will be responsible for the management and supervision of the Hotel Entertainment in co-operation with the Hotel Management and TMC Supervisor. This includes The Evening Shows and The Daytime Programme.

ALL ROUND ENTERTAINER’S JOB DESCRIPTION

As a TMC Entertainer you will be enthusiastic, bubbly and with an outgoing personality. You will have something special to add to our Entertainment Teams. Whether this is a language skill, such as German, French, Italian or Russian, or being great at sports, singing or dancing, or simply being an all round entertaining person, your skill is important to us. Of course we don’t expect you to be great at everything; all we ask is that you’re up for a laugh and willing to give anything a go. Working within a team in a hotel you’ll be responsible for Daytime Activities that range from Aqua Aerobics and Beach Volleyball to Darts and Children’s Activities. In the Evening you might find yourself performing in one of our many Shows with up to 10 other performers, or hosting a Theme Night or Karaoke.

SPORTS ENTERTAINER’S JOB DESCRIPTION

As a TMC Sports Entertainer you will be enthusiastic, bubbly and with an outgoing personality. You will need skills in sports and a love of team games to be part of our Entertainment Teams. Working within a team in a hotel you’ll be responsible for Daytime Activities that range from Water Polo and Beach Volleyball to Darts. You’ll be expected to encourage guests to join in whether they have any experience in the activity or not and you’ll have the ability to make everyone feel welcome and make sure everyone has a great time. The emphasis is on fun and enjoyment not serious competition and you’ll make sure that you are in control of all the activities. Additional skills such as a language, for example German, French, Italian or Russian, or being great at singing or dancing are an additional bonus. Of course we don’t expect you to be great at everything; all we ask is that you’re up for a laugh and willing to give anything a go. In the Evening you might find yourself performing in one of our many Shows with up to 10 other performers, or hosting a Theme Night or Karaoke.

CHILDREN’S ENTERTAINER’S JOB DESCRIPTION

TMC is looking to recruit over 25 Children’s Entertainers who are enthusiastic, bubbly and with an outgoing personality. English language skills are a must and any other languages will be an advantage, ESPECIALLY GERMAN or RUSSIAN. Qualified Barnskötare, Pedagog/Fritids Programmet or equivalent and any teachers qualifications and past experience with Children is a big plus.
TMC is looking to recruit Children’s Entertainers who can provide a Fun and Active Entertainments Programme for Kids, this can range from Mini Olympic Team Games to a Pirate Day around the Pool. In the Evening you will be co-hosting Children’s Discos, Children’s Parties or assisting the Entertainers with their shows. This includes compering on a microphone. As a Children’s Entertainer you’ll be expected to implement this programme with energy and enthusiasm whilst ensuring that the children are safe and happy at all times. If you feel you have the relevant skills to achieve this then we want to hear from you!

ZUMBA AEROBICS JOB DESCRIPTION

Obviously the new and amazing Zumba is a huge hit with all Holidaymakers. TMC is looking to recruit Zumba Instructors for a limited period from 15th June to 15th September 2012. Should you have any experience and qualifications in Zumba please send us your application and references.

HOSTESS JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for outgoing, smiley people who have an understanding of PR and HOSTING and wish to work in a 5 star Hotel. In the daytime you will be talking to the guests around the poolside making sure they are happy and HOSTING some basic activities such as Pilates, Aqua Splash or Darts. In the evening your main role will be as a Hostess in the Restaurant, Greeting the Guests and seating them at the tables. After this you will PR with them during the Main Evening Entertainment and ensure that at all times you are polite and friendly.

SALARY:

Between Euro € 800  – € 1540 a month net. of local taxes. Free accommodation with own room for the Entertainment Managers.
Between Euro € 500 - € 1110 a month net. of local taxes for the All Round Entertainers.
Between Euro € 500 - € 1110 a month net. of local taxes for the Sports Entertainers.
Between Euro €500 - €800 a month net. of local taxes for the Children’s Entertainers.
Between Euro € 500 – € 700 a month net. of local taxes for the Zumba Instructors.
Between Euro € 500 - € 1110 a month net. of local taxes for the Hostess.

Other Benefits:

Free accommodation with shared room (with another Entertainer), all food and soft drinks. Flight expenses will be refunded on completion of contract. Working hours: 8 – 10 hours maximum a day, 6 days a week.
